Asian Shrimp Cocktail Print E-mail

1/3 cup frozen orange juice (thawed)

1/3 cup low sodium teriyaki sauce

1/8 tsp garlic powder

1/8 tsp red pepper flakes

1 small package pre-cooked, deveined, tail-on, large shrimp

1. Combine thawed orange juice, teriyaki sauce, garlic powder and red pepper flakes. (double the recipe if you are making a lot of shrimp)


2. Use half the sauce and marinate for several hours in the refrigerator.

3. When ready to serve, arrange the shrimp in a circle around the plate and place a small bowl in the center of the plate with the remainder of the marinade for dipping.


Put shrimp in a paper towel and squeeze all the excess moisture (water) out of the shrimp to get the most flavor.
Use a measuring cup for accurate measurement of liquids and throw everything else in the bowl to mix!
