When you cook with olive oil, put it on the food first (instead of directly on the pan only). The reason for this one is, once you preheat the stove, you burn out all the 'good fat' olive oil gives you. If you put it on the food first, you don't lose the health benefits.
Remember, olive oil expands, so a little goes a long way.
